One love.

I had lunch at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica with Rita Marley – Bob’s wife. She talked about her “fights” with media company lawyers, over the rights to Bob’s music. Bob’s family made no money and were receiving no royalties for the magnificent creative genius and body of work, her husband and friends provided, as reggae music around the world.
This is a classic case of the money morons in our society, stealing, then monetizing – the innovation brought to the world by creative genius.
After years of fighting, Rita and Bob’s family finally received some of the money generated by Bob’s efforts. Bob, of course, died much earlier.
As we left the hotel after lunch, walking past the Kingston KFC, many fans on the street called out with love and respect: “RITA – RITA MARLEY”. <3
